RECOMMENDED LINKS

Updated: Jul 8

When I teach, people often ask me to recommend wool dealers, inspiring felt artists, and different

groups or associations with a focus on wool and felting. It can be difficult remember it all, and few

people get to note it down.

Bits of wool in different colours rolled into balls

Here's a selection of links, which are hopefully of use, and with them I also want to encourage you

to seek out the exciting world of felting that is available online.

WHERE TO BUY FELTING WOOL:

Filtestedet , Brønderslev

Hjelholts Uldspinderi, Langå on Fyn

Textilmagi, Fensmark on Sjælland

Åddebo Ull, Sweden

Wollknoll Germany

Fåreuld søges og tilbydes Group on Facebook

Bad wool: Unfortunately, there are also some places which sell wool that does not felt properly when wet felting. For instance, the carded wool sold by CC Hobby . is not suitable and it's not even cheap. They do however sell merino tops, which are great.

ASSOCIATIONS AND GROUPS

Grima felting association

On their website, you can find dealers, courses, groups and people teaching felting.

Perhaps this is something you should consider signing up for?

Felting group on Facebook.

That is enough for now. Perhaps I will add more later on.
